Marketing Executive

Salary: Dependent on experience

An important role with responsibility for a number of areas integral to the Marketing department and the wider business, assisting the Marketing Services Manager and other members of the Digital and Marketing team.


Audley Traveller

  • You will manage the production of our quarterly magazine from planning to delivery, including developing new editorial and design concepts:


  • High quality destination photography is a key aspect of our marketing communications. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we continue to use inspirational imagery that communicates our brand values:


  • Image sourcing as above

Events and exhibitions

  • Project managing, booking, planning and working with outside organisations on exhibition preparations

Marketing database

  • Managing and actioning the database and working with the data team to troubleshoot issues

Responsibility for production and stocks of branded items and literature

  • Scheduling production of literature including the calendar, postcards and brochure request cards and ensuring deadlines are met


  • Depending on respective workloads of other members of the team, you will assist with or manage a number of further projects, these could include for example: direct mail and system developments in line with business needs.

Other responsibilities

  • Play your part in maintaining the brand identity in all projects
  • Assist other members of the department when holiday cover is required
  • Proactively support the other members of the team


Person Specification

  • Excellent all-rounder with experience of marketing
  • Highly organised and conscientious
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Must be pro-active and able to take own initiative
  • Creative ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in image research
  • Project management skills
  • A diligent individual who remains focused on business priorities
  • Flexible team player who contributes positively towards the team and its overall goals
  • Good communicator
  • Good eye for detail
  • Interest in travel



  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a minimum of two years marketing experience
  • Good knowledge of print production
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to write creative copy
  • Competent use of Adobe, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Design skills
  • Competent in Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Valid driving licence
