Aviation Product Executive

Salary: Dependent on Experience

We have an exciting new role available for a Product Executive to join the Aviation team at Audley. As the Aviation Product Executive, your role will be to support country specialists in selling air and delivering expert flight advice to our clients.

This job might be for you if:

  • You have a passion for aviation and prior GDS experience in either Galileo, Amadeus or Sabre.
  • You communicate clearly. You can explain just about anything to anyone, and you’re comfortable communicating in writing and face to face.
  • You enjoy solving problems. You love taking on challenges and finding solutions. If you don’t know the answer, you’ll dig until you find it.
  • You have a positive and approachable demeanour.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Targets
    • Increase quote conversion by –
      • Serving as the resource for in-depth airline product and routing knowledge within your region.
      • Empowering country specialists to select the right airline, route and class for each client, furthering Audley’s position as experts in travel.
    • Decrease margin dilution from flights by –
      • Spot checking PNRs for accuracy. This applies particularly to itineraries with complicated routings, repeat client itineraries, and premium cabin itineraries.
      • Identifying country specialists who need additional support and filling in their knowledge gaps to prevent costly mistakes.
  • Training
    • Work closely with the Training Team and Flight Coordinators to ensure new starters have a comprehensive flight training experience.
    • Design and deliver spot trainings, shaped by where you see knowledge gaps and by team requests.
    • Work with airlines on external trainings to ensure content is relevant and personalised for Audley.
    • Ensure aviation training materials on the intranet are kept up to date.
  • Product Development and Maintenance  
    • Stay up-to-date with airline product offerings via aviation news and travel media.
    • Disseminate information to keep country specialists informed of product details that could positively or negatively influence the client’s experience.
    • Create and update aviation text in client facing documents to ensure we are delivering high quality air advice.
